Short description

 The company markets a range of giftware and hard goods that is continuously being updated on its own online platform and through other sales channels such as Amazon, eBay and Kaufland.

On these platforms, our client acts as a reseller and has corresponding reseller agreements. The product ranges comprise the following in particular: camping, electrical household appliances, bicycles, gardening equipment and garden furniture, household goods, clothing (small additional range), furniture and household items, outdoor items, care and wellness products, travel accessories, toys and games, sports goods, pet supplies. It also offers a continuously changing range of discounted and promotional goods.

Ordered products are shipped exclusively via the company’s own in-house shipping department. Our client currently operates a 2,000 m² high-bay warehouse with the products mentioned above in stock based on expected sales. Ordered goods are processed and packaged up in-house and shipped to customers using logistics partners such as DHL, Hermes and others. The company has an integrated IT platform with its own ERP system and an integrated link to marketplace platforms as well as all payment and logistics processes. Thanks to this platform, the range of products on the company’s own website and on various marketplaces is always up to date, ensuring rapid fulfilment. As a consequence, the company is able to meet its customers’ expectations of a high-performing online retailer.

Our client’s customers often make purchases on an ad hoc basis. Usually, purchases are one-offs, with customers making repeated purchases few and far between. Almost all customers are B2C customers from Germany or Austria.
